studio portraiture: what to expect

Wall art has become the top selection following a studio portraiture session. Here's a peek into what to expect from your session.

Step 1: We have a phone consultation to get to know one another and what you’re expecting from me as a photographer. I love learning about my clients and their animals. Ready to book? You’re welcome to schedule your session date during this call. A paid retainer and signed contract is required to hold your session date.

Step 2: We schedule an in home consultation where you get an opportunity to see and feel the various pieces that I offer. We'll tour your home or barn to get an idea of your style and what walls are best suited to install art.

Step 3: I'll photograph you and/or your horses over the course of 1-2 days, depending on the session you chose. Watch my social media channels closely for sneak peeks!

Step 4: (For studio portraiture), we meet via video call one week following your session for you to decide what images receive master retouching before delivery.

Step 5: Your images are delivered to you via private online gallery.

When you’re ready for art production:

We come together in person to review various mock ups of your favorite portraits on the walls of your home or barn. Art purchases can be made at this time and installation will be scheduled within several weeks of the ordering appointment.
